The Fixer Upper
You might say things were in disrepair when we bought our home on 10 largely-wooded acres in 2022, and you’d be right. Let’s call that the bottom. Now, we’re not saying we’re “here” yet, or likely every will be, but the progress we’ve made in a few short years feels like nothing short of remarkable to us (praise God).
We’ll spare you the details, but you can see for yourself just how bad things were when we felt the call to buy this property. John Bon Jovi said it best (“Living on a Prayer”) and we sure did for that entire first year. 6 long months later, we moved in, settled as best we could for a month, welcomed a newborn (our 4th child), and let our dreams run wild with all the potential God had surrounded us with.
Today we’re still tackling the fixer upper projects around the house and property. We’ve made a lot of progress on this 1950’s Cape Cod nestled among the trees, but we still have big plans and we want you along for the journey.
